You Shall Have a Fishy

In the foyer of the City Museum in Bristol is the most amazing ceramic which was used as a cast for a bronze drinking fountain for Castle Park in 1993. The artist, Kate Malone is the same age as me and glazed this 3 foot (approx) high coil pot after the cast was made. All the elements making up the ceramic are symbols of Bristol and its prosperity over the ages.
I think the ceramic is much better than the bronze because it’s so colourful, but I don’t think it would have lasted long in a parkland setting!
