I spotted this most unusual ambulance whilst walking along the Embankment in London last week. I expect it’s used by a paramedic and in the London traffic may be quicker than the more conventional kind.
If you look carefully at the photo you’ll see I was standing by the RNLI’s London station. You’ll also see there’s a warning which may lead to the bike’s equipment being needed without any peddling required.
An improvised bench seen from the window whilst my train stopped at Bath Spa station. The Bike Queuing Area sign is new too and I’m intrigued why this station needs one and others don’t.

I knew these were available on the streets of London, but last Thursday was when I saw them for the first time. Later on that day I actually saw someone riding one. I’m not sure if you have to return your bike to the same place.
