We saw plenty of yarnstorming (aka yarnbombing) in Yorkshire recently. The best was on Saltburn pier, where all kinds of Yorkshire objects and phrases had been captured in wool.
It seems this is a regular, mystery appearance on Saltburn pier 🙂
Another picture from my recent trip to Wales. So apt to find the subject matches its adornment AND during National wool week. I don’t know whether the yarnbombing was done as part of the latter, or if it’s been there for longer than that.
Made to celebrate Cardigan’s 900th birthday in 2010.
Seen in the Clifton Arcade – a woolshop that’s made its shop sign out of the product it sells 🙂
