  1. That ‘jump in’ and ‘drive away’ makes it sound so much more immediate than ‘book’. Presumably jumping in and driving away is what you do with any hire car?! (Unless jumping is, with company, compulsory!)

    1. You’re right Lucy – the difference here is the car was parked in the station car park rather than at a car hire place. I suppose the idea is to have the car right by where its needed rather than having to go somewhere to pick it up. It reminded me of ‘Boris’ bikes’ in London, but in car rather than bike form.
